These terms govern your use of Glow Cloud Kit, a suite of web parts for SharePoint Online provided by Glow Cloud Solutions, a partnership ("we", "us"). By subscribing to or using Glow Cloud Kit you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Glow Cloud Kit provides client-side web parts and extensions that you install into your own Microsoft 365 tenant. The apps run in your tenant and access data through Microsoft Graph and SharePoint as the signed-in user.
2. Licence
Subject to an active subscription, a current free trial, or an evaluation licence granted by us, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Glow Cloud Kit within the licensed tenant for your internal business use. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, or remove any licensing or notices. A standard subscription licenses one Microsoft 365 tenant; additional tenants require an Enterprise plan.
3. Subscriptions, trials and billing
- Glow Cloud Kit is sold to businesses for business use. It is a recurring monthly or annual subscription with a 14-day free trial.
- Glow Cloud Solutions is the seller. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.
- Prices are in GBP and no VAT is currently charged, as we are below the UK VAT registration threshold. Subscriptions taken out before we moved to Stripe continue to be billed through Lemon Squeezy until they end.
- Price hold. The price you sign up at is held for 24 months from your subscription start date. We name our price versions so there is no ambiguity about which one you hold: the current version is 2026 pricing. After the 24 months your subscription may move to the then-current pricing, and we will give you at least 60 days' written notice before that happens. Subscriptions started before this clause was published are treated at least this favourably.
- During the trial you are not charged; if you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and the first period is billed automatically.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Before a subscription renews, and before a card on file expires, Stripe emails you on our behalf.
4. Cancellation and refunds
The 14-day free trial is the evaluation period. A card is required to start it, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel at any point in those 14 days and you pay nothing at all. We would rather you used the trial to decide, because it is the point at which changing your mind costs you nothing.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, which in almost every case needs no contact with us at all. If that page cannot reach the billing provider for any reason it will point you at support instead, and we will cancel for you on request - the right to cancel does not depend on the button working. Either way the subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and your apps keep working until that date. Nothing is cut off early.
- Refunds after the trial. Payment for a period that has already begun is not refundable, in whole or in part, and cancelling part-way through a month or a year does not create a pro-rata refund.
- We may still refund at our discretion - for example if you were charged after telling us you wanted to stop, or if a fault on our side made the product unusable. Please ask; we would rather hear about it. Where we do refund, access ends when the refund is issued.
- Consumer cancellation rights do not apply. This is a business-to-business sale, so the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply. The free trial gives you the equivalent chance to evaluate before paying.
- Chargebacks. If a payment is reversed through your bank or card issuer we will cancel the subscription and access will end. If something looks wrong on an invoice, contacting us first is quicker and we can usually sort it the same day.
5. Activation and validation
The apps validate your subscription against our licensing service when they load. If a subscription ends or lapses (after a 14-day grace period), live-rendered apps will stop functioning. A theme already applied to your tenant persists independently of the subscription.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Glow Cloud Kit unlawfully, to circumvent its licensing, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our services.
7. Intellectual property
All rights in Glow Cloud Kit, including its software, designs and brand, remain with Glow Cloud Solutions. These terms grant no rights except as expressly stated. SharePoint and Microsoft 365 are trademarks of Microsoft; Glow Cloud Kit is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
8. Disclaimers
Glow Cloud Kit is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or non-payment.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
