Theme
Theme is a Theme & Branding Designer: design a complete SharePoint theme, preview it live across real UI surfaces, and apply it to your site - all from one web part.
Permissions
Theme needs no Microsoft Graph permissions. It applies themes through SharePoint as the signed-in user.
Set up
- Install the package (see the Install guide).
- Edit a page → add the Theme & Branding Designer web part.
- Set your base colours (primary, text, background); the designer generates the full theme ramp.
- Preview, then Apply to set the theme on the site.

Choosing which surfaces to preview
The property pane lets you toggle which preview surfaces are shown (banner, nav, buttons, links, cards, body text, callouts, sections) so you can focus on what matters for your site.
An applied theme persists in your SharePoint tenant's theme store. If you later cancel, the theme you already applied stays - cancelling removes access to the designer tool, not the result.
