Drop drone footage or brand film behind any band as an ambient loop: autoplay, muted, no controls - it reads as design, not a player. A poster image paints instantly so the page never waits for the video, people who prefer reduced motion get the poster only, and if the video cannot load the band falls back cleanly to your gradient or colour. The same 9-point focal point as images decides which slice a thin band keeps - and the poster follows it, so the picture never jumps. Scrim, shape dividers and extend-to-section all work over video, and large files upload in chunks straight to your own Site Assets.
A designer, not a config file
Break any spot on a page out to the viewport width, with a scrollbar-safe guard that re-measures on resize so it never triggers a horizontal page scroll. Turn it off to stay in the column.

No data, no permissions
Section is pure client-side design. It needs no Microsoft Graph permissions and reads none of your content; any uploaded background image or video lands in your own Site Assets, served from your own tenant like any other file. Everything runs as the signed-in user, on Microsoft's supported SharePoint Framework, so it is upgrade-safe.
